Organization
The CBA is organised in a single multidisciplinary research group capable of giving answers in distinct areas of Biotechnology, through the integration of common technologies and sharing the same facilities, thus leading to a better management of space, instruments and human resources.
Its management is run by the: Scientific Coordinating Board, Director, Scientific Council, and External Advisory Board.
The CBA infrastructures and members are located in two islands:
Terceira: Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and TERINOV (Parque de Ciência e Tecnologia da Ilha Terceira)
São Miguel: Faculty of Science and Technologies
